Jewellery Parties - Dublin Area

Tuesday, March 18th, 2008

Enjoy a fun get-together with your friends, a glass (or two) of champagne, some nibbles and the opportunity to shop in the comfort of your own surroundings. We can come to any venue of your choice and the party can be nearly any size; all we ask is for a minimum of 7 people.

You choose the time and place, invite the guests and we will take care of the rest! If you like, we will provide you with custom invitations, or you can contact your friends personally. It’s up to you whether or not you provide hors d’Oeurves or refreshments. Tea and coffee is perfectly fine - we leave that bit up to you.

Not only will you have a great time to remember; but as host/hostess you can choose any jewellery from our current range to the value of 15% of the evening’s takings!!

Possible themes for your Courtney Designs Jewellery Party include weddings, cocktail parties, birthdays, work-party, coffee morning, fund-raising events, or any special occasions of your choice!

Is there a hard sell?
Absolutely not! The jewellery sells itself and its up to you if you want to make a purchase.

We will bring along our tools and beads to make alterations to the jewellery, so it fits perfectly. This is also a fantastic opportunity for you and your friends to ask about any custom requirements or special requests. If you require an item altered in any major way or want to place an order for an item that has sold out, a deposit of 50% will be required at the time of request and the goods will be delivered directly to the customer.

Free gift wrap for all jewellery items purchased.

All of our jewellery is up to 60% discount from retail prices and so will make an affordable gift for yourself or a loved one. Courtney Designs jewellery is made from high quality sterling silver, pearls, crystals & gemstones to suit all tastes and budgets, even starting from as little as €10 upwards.

We currently operate within a 50-mile radius of Dublin where we are based; however, if you let us know where you are located we can certainly consider accommodating you at your location.

Courtney Designs accepts all major forms of payment. Cash, Laser, Visa/ MasterCard or cheque. All cheques must be accompanied by a valid cheque guarantee card.

To book a jewellery party, email us at: info@courtneydesigns.ie or use the “Contact Us” form on this site. Alternatively, call 086 376 4189 to arrange a time and date for your party.

If you would like to be notified of sales, events, parties and offers please email me to join our mailing list.

FUNDRAISING - why not hold a jewellery party as a fundraising event?

Rather than receiving a gift to the value of 15% why not ask for a Courtney Designs cheque to the value of 15% of the takings to be made payable to a charity of your choice?

We find that many choose to opt for this as everyone is a winner; everyone has the opportunity to take home an item of jewellery from the available collection, plus a charity benefits from your purchases. This is truly an option which you rarely get in the shops.

Our charity of choice is The Umbrella Foundation. If you do not have a charity of choice you can donate your 15% to help this orphanage in Katmandu, Nepal. Click here to learn more about them and what they do: http://www.umbrellanepal.org/

Coffee Mornings

If you love the idea of these jewellery parties but don’t want to make the step just yet, or don’t have enough people to invite; you can go for my second smaller option of a jewellery coffee-morning. It is similar to the jewellery party idea but occurring over coffee with a smaller group of friends.

While still at your own home, or office, the coffee morning would only require a minimum of 5 people, tea or coffee, and a table for me to display the jewellery. I will do the rest!

For any further details on how to book your own jewelry party or coffee morning, or for any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at +353 86-376-4189 or click here.

Additionally, due to many requests, i am currently writing up a project list and I will be giving Beginner’s Jewellery classes in the Ballsbridge area. Times and dates to be confirmed, but if you are interested, reply to this post (below), contact me by email: info@courtneydesigns.ie or alternatively,  click here.

And the winner of the draw for my Korean Jade and Sterling Silver earrings is…….

Bridget Larsen, of Canberra, Australia! (Her blog: http://bridgetlarsen.blogspot.com/).

The winner was chosen by random, from this random-number-checker on this site (http://www.violetsareblue.net/random/)

And by the most random of coincidences, she had contacted me 8 hours earlier, to say that I had been the winner of her draw as well!! Really, people, I am not open to bribery! (Although there had been a few attempts!) This was sheer coincidence!

Stay tuned, as I really enjoyed the feedback and interactions from this draw, and I will plan on doing another in the near future!

Thanks to everyone for participating.

Hope you all have had a beautiful day, and here I share my voluptuous and divine roses with all of you!!

one world, one heart- free courtney designs jewellery up for grabs!

I just discovered this wonderful event One World, One Heart happening in the world of blogging. It is a way to unite bloggers around the world. I’m happy to have found it and offer my freebie. Just leave a comment below with your email, and on February 14th, Valentine’s Day, I will pick a winner. Deadline to comment ends at midnight, Feb. 13th, PST.

I am giving away a free pair of my handcrafted sterling silver earrings with Korean jade and ornate silver Bali beads. They normally sell in my stall for €28/ pair- now is your chance to get them for free!

What IS ONE World-ONE Heart?

It is a blog-wide giveaway event. The original idea behind this was to bring bloggers together from around the world who may never ordinarily meet. It closes the gap of the blog community and enables us to interact, discover new and wonderful people, and in the process possibly win a prize or many prizes along the way. Last years event had nearly 100 participants and many connections were made because of it……friendships that are still going strong.

Good luck!
