FAQ’s and misc info about my jewellery:

What is Thai (Karen Hilltribe) and Bali silver, and how is it made?
I personally hand-pick all of the beads and precious metals that I use. Bali and Thai (Karen) silver are sourced by me in my travels, directly from the artesians themselves.
The Thai beads and pendants I use as a part of my jewelry creations are made by the Karen Hill Tribes in Northern Thailand using traditional methods passes down from generation to generation. Purchasing these Thai beads helps sustain a traditional craft and provides the Karen people with a reliable source of income. The silver content in the Hill Tribe silver beads and pendants is typically 95-99%, even higher than sterling (92.5%). This higher silver content is softer and therefore easier to shape into all the unique and wonderful styles. On close inspection you will notice that no two pieces are exactly alike, attesting to the handmade nature of these beautiful pieces.
Bali silver is astonishingly ornate and has 92.5% (Sterling) or higher silver content. Each dot and spiral meticulously rendered by hand to create the astonishingly ornate beads- each one a work of art in itself! I also go personally to Bali especially to source these ornate silver beads by hand.
Both types of silver comply to Fair Trade regulations.

Several of my pieces are one of kind and cannot be recreated due to the limited amount of materials available. However I may be able to make a very similar looking piece of jewellery for you using similar stones or colours.
